With the large number of outside cabins on the Carnival Spirit, you have many choices in accommodations with either a balcony or an ocean view on this ship. There are 849 outside rooms and 213 rooms in the interior of the ship. You don’t have to book a suite to have a private balcony, although the balconies on the suites are larger than those of the staterooms.

The most luxurious cabins are the Penthouse suites, where you have extra amenities at your fingertips. The spacious bedroom contains two double beds that you can ask to be converted to a king size bed if you wish. Plus, the living room in this suite has a sofa bed that pulls out to reveal another double bed. Thus you have accommodations enough for six.

The demi-suites also have two double beds in the bedroom that you can fit together to make a king size bed and a private balcony from which you can watch the sunrise or sunset or enjoy the view at any time of the day. There is also a sleeper sofa in the sitting room. The private bathrooms of the suites contain a whirlpool tub.

You can also opt for an oceanview stateroom with a balcony or one that gives you a panoramic view through a large picture window. These smaller outside cabins have a king size bed, sofa and chair and full bath. They also have ample closet and storage space so that you can unpack and feel right at home.



The oceanview cabins in Category 6A have two twin beds that can be configured into a larger size bed and those in Category 5A have French doors opening onto a small balcony, but the views are somewhat obstructed.

All of the interior cabins have twin beds that convert to a larger size bed, bathrooms with showers only and a small sitting area.

Whatever category of accommodations you choose on the Carnival Spirit, you do have a TV in your room, as well as a well-stocked mini-bar. The bathrooms include a full basket of complimentary toiletries on arrival, bathrobes and a hair dryer. You can keep your valuables safe in the wall safe in your room and adjust the temperature of the room to your liking. Fluffy towels are delivered each day or when you need them and the staff checks the mini-bar each day as well to keep it well-stocked with your favourites.
