Carnival Inspiration, like its sister ships in the Fantasy category of Carnival cruise ships, has two main dining rooms. They are the Mardi Gras and the Carnivale and both offer two sittings for the evening meal. These are staggered so that passengers can choose one of two different times for dining in each restaurant and the show times in the Paris Lounge are timed to coincide with the conclusion of the meal times. In this way passengers won’t miss out on a great show because they choose to dine later.

Dinner in either of these restaurants follows traditional seating with tables for four, six or eight people. There are very few tables for two. The meal is an elaborate affair and all passengers are expected to dress for dinner. There are many choices to be made in what to have as a starter, the main course and the desserts. You can also take breakfast and lunch in either of these venues where you have the option to sit wherever and with whomever you choose.

If you don’t want to dress up to dine or you just want to grab a bite on deck, then the casual dining style of the Brasserie Bar and Grill is just what you need. Here you have a dazzling array of dishes set up in stations around the room. The pizzeria in this location is open round the clock, as is the ice cream and yogurt station. Even though buffet is the main style of this venue, you can also order items to be cooked to your specifications rather than choose from the ready-made selections.

In the evening, the Brasserie becomes the alternative dining venue of the Carnival Inspiration, but you don’t have to make reservations. It provides an alternative venue for enjoying some of the same dishes that are offered in the main dining rooms and you can dine inside or on the pool deck.

When you get hungry in the wee hours of the morning you can order from room service. The selection is limited to cold breakfast items, salads and sandwiches, but it will satisfy your needs at the moment. The Midnight Buffet is a hot on this cruise ship, especially for those who get the munchies late at night. Those who like Sushi delight in the free Sushi bar that is available during the dinner time hours.
