Dining in any of the venues on the Carnival Paradise is a food lover’s dream come true. There are two main dining rooms on this ship – the Elation, located midship and the Destiny, which is located aft. Both offer open seating for breakfast and lunch, but there is traditional seating for dinner with two sittings to accommodate those who wish to dine early and those who like to have their meal at a later time. Even with the shorter cruise itineraries, there is always a Captain’s Gala held in both these venues on the second night of the cruise.

Menu selections for all meals are astounding. You can choose from a variety of dishes on the menu and have them cooked just the way you like them. If you are trying to watch your weight, there is a Spa menu to choose from, which has lighter fare that is extremely tasty.

The Paris Cafe offers cafeteria style dining where you can choose foods from the stations set up around the room. It is best to survey the various stations before you make your final choices so that you know exactly what is available for each meal. The dishes change on a daily basis allowing for a full range of meal options. Salad and dessert stations are situated away from the main dishes, so you won’t have to wait long to make your choices in these foods.

During the evening hours, the Paris Cafe becomes the Seaview Lounge, and while it does offer some of the same dishes as the main dining rooms, it is still buffet and casual. There is no extra charge for dining in this venue and you do not have to make reservations. The benefit is that you don’t have to dress up.

The 24-hour pizzeria has some of the best pizza you will ever taste. Although there are ready-made pizzas available, you can ask to have one specially made for you with your favourite toppings. Since this venue is open round the clock, there is always a slice of pizza ready when you want it.

The Midnight Buffet is very popular on the Carnival Paradise with different offerings each night. Even if you don’t usually stay up this late, you will want to on the cruise just to partake of the delectable delights, such as delicious chocolate confections.

When you don’t want to stray far from the pool during the day, there is a grill on the pool deck where you can have your favourite fast food items, such as burgers and fries. The Sushi stand is open in the evenings while dinner is being served and the Ile de France Cafe has specialty teas and coffees available.
Room service is available 24 hours a day and even though the menu is somewhat limited to cold breakfast items, sandwiches and salads it is a great option for late night snacks and for those mornings when you just don’t want to get out of bed.
