Expect to be entertained day and night when you take a cruise to Baja Mexico on the Carnival Paradise. The Normandie Theater, which can seat 1300 passengers, is the focal point of entertainment in large scale production shows on this cruise ship. Here you can take in different types of entertainment, which include song and dance routines. The early shows are mainly for families, but the late shows are for adults only.

The Rex Dance Club is the karaoke bar on the ship where 140 guests can be seated and be entertained by their fellow passengers. This is a very popular entertainment venue on the Carnival Paradise. The Queen Mary Lounge can seat 450 passengers and has a great dance floor where you can dance until the wee hours of the morning or just sit and listen to the music, which includes many different genres.

Relax with your friends over drinks in the intimate piano bar and listen to the pianist tickling the ivories. Other bars and lounges on the ship include the America Bar, the Rotterdam Bar, the United States Bar and the Ile de France Cafe, where you can enjoy specialty teas and coffees as well as pastries that just melt in your mouth. One of the other dancing venues on the Carnival Paradise is the Leonardo Disco, but this is mostly for teenagers on a cruise with their parents.

The Blue Riband Library is a great venue for just sitting and watching the world go by or for viewing some of the memorabilia from the ship of the same name, which used to be the fastest transatlantic liner in the world. Here you can curl up with a good book in one of the comfy chairs or check out one or two to take back to your cabin.



Live bands entertain in the Atrium during the day. Sit and indulge in people watching as you watch the comings and goings of everyone on the ship. The line up of daytime activities is extensive. Choose to participate in a variety of contests and tournaments or just enjoy the pools, of which there are three. Swim a few laps and soak up the rays of the sun from your lounge chair on the pool deck.

Of course, you have to tempt fate in the Majestic Casino at least once on your cruise. The variety of slot machines and gaming tables make for great fun, especially if you walk away a winner.
