Days at sea on the Carnival Freedom are filled to the brim with activities to suit all ages and tastes in entertainment. Contests, movies, tournaments, art auctions and the standards, such as Bingo and card games take place by the side of the pool and in various public rooms on the ship. Of course, you want to take in the fun of playing in the pools on the swim and acting young again by taking a ride on the waterslide. Although there is music during the day, it is during the evening hours that this ship really comes alive.

The Victoriana Lounge is the focal point for large scale productions that rival those you would see on Broadway or on the Las Vegas strip. There are good views of the stage from all seats in this venue that is quite spacious, spanning three decks of the Carnival Freedom. You have a choice of standard theatre seats in the upper levels and banquette style seating on the main floor with some seats for two.

Cabaret acts, comedy and magical performances take place in the International Lounge, but if you prefer jazz, then you can head to the Swingtime Jazz Bar. This is also the smoking section of the ship with its cigar bar. Have a glass or wine to celebrate a special event or simply as a before or after dinner drink with your friends at the Bar Nouveau with its extensive wine list to choose from. This is your chance to sample many different wines if you don’t already have a favourite that you want to stick with.

Scott’s Piano Bar is a favourite with all the passengers who just want to sip on a drink while listening to the pianist tickling the ivories. Here you can also sing along with your favourite tunes from the 60’s. 70’s and 80’s and with a microphone at every table, you can be the star of the show.

For quiet conversation over cocktails, the Carnival Freedom offers several venues for your entertainment of this sort – the Habana Bar, the Players Bar and the Centuries Bar. The Players Bar is the sports bar of the ship where you can watch the big game on the large screen TV or keep up with the news from the world of sports.

Party into the early morning hours at the 70’s Disco Bar where the DJ plays until 3 a.m. There are bars adjacent to the pools as well where you can have a drink during the day as you soak up the rays of the sun.

Try your luck on the slot machines and gaming tables of the Babylon Casino where you just might walk away with the winnings. Whether you win or lose, you will be a winner for just having taken a cruise on the Carnival Freedom.
