Entertainment you can only dream about surrounds you day and night on the Carnival Dream. This cruise ship is the first of the Carnival fleet to have a full-time comedy club as part of the crew. There will be six shows a night in the Burgundy Lounge, which can seat 450 passengers. The earlier shows are suitable for all ages, but the last two of the evening are for adults only because of the content.

Take in a laser light show, the first of its kind at sea. This show lasts for 15 minutes, but is one that you will remember for a lifetime. The lights are choreographed to music and with the smoke machines the effect is an experience that you just don’t want to miss.



The main theatre on the Carnival Dream is the Encore. Three major productions take place in this venue throughout each cruise and they are timed to coincide with the conclusion of the seatings for the evening meal. Sing along to your favourite tunes in Sam’s, which is a piano bar or delight in the disco lights and large dance floor of Caliente’s.

During the day you can enjoy classes of various kinds, such as art appreciation, scrapbooking, photography and more in the Ocean Plaza. This venue also plays host to magicians and other entertainers as well as different genres of music for your listening enjoyment. There are also several trivia contests that take place in this location on the ship.

The pool is the focal point of the daytime activity and with the large waterslide, every passenger can be a kid for a short time. Adults can bask in the Serenity Retreat where they won’t be interrupted by children and have wait staff bring their drinks right to the table. There is an area of this part of the ship reserved for those females who like to sunbathe topless.

Try your luck in the Jackpot Casino where you just might be the big winner of the night. Relax in the outdoor Jacuzzi or take a stroll along the Promenade Deck, which measures ½ mile. Even spending time in the lobby is a dream come true with its spectacular sights and sounds.
