There is such a wealth of facilities available for the convenience and pleasure of the passengers on the Carnival Paradise that you will have a hard time taking advantage of them all on one short cruise. The Atrium is the hub of the ship and it is here you will find the information desk and the shore excursion desk. Indulge in a variety of treatments at the spa, which is operated by Steiners and try out the state of the art fitness equipment in the spacious gym. You can even have a session with a personal trainer and have a workout plan designed to meet your needs.

The Blue Riband Library is well-stocked with many genres of literature. The comfy chairs just beg you curl up with a good book. You do have to be on your toes though, as this venue is only open for a few hours each afternoon.



While there are a variety of shore excursions in which you can take part, you also have the opportunity to rent snorkelling equipment on the ship and explore the underwater world of each port of call on your own. There are so many lounges and bars on the Carnival Paradise that it is highly unlikely that you will get to enjoy them all as thoroughly as you may like on one cruise. This means you will have to book a second cruise just to see what you missed in nightly entertainment.

There are fourteen elevators for your convenience and twenty of the cabins are wheelchair accessible. To accommodate the needs of families cruising on this ship, some of the cabins are interconnecting.

Children can enjoy state of the art playrooms and toys when they are on a cruise with their parents. Camp Carnival is arranged in age groups to allow for age appropriate activities from toddlers to older teens. In this way, both the children and parents have the facilities they need to enjoy themselves. The staff are well trained and will supervise all children’s activities leaving the parents free to pursue their own entertainment. Group babysitting is also available for a reasonable charge in the evenings.

The crew of the Carnival Paradise are always on hand to answer questions and work hard to make sure that the daytime activities are suitable for everyone. Even in the large showroom, there are comedy acts suited to families and those racier ones take place at the late hours for adults only.
