You don’t have to worry about not being able to stay in touch with home or the office when you take a cruise on the Carnival Glory. There is an Internet Cafe where you pay by the minute for the use of the terminals. In addition, the ship is equipped with Wi-Fi so if you bring your laptop with you there are areas of the ship where you can log on to the Internet and surf to your heart’s content.

The checkerboard floor of the Black and White Library offers some comfy chairs where you can curl up with a good book. However, this room is small and the selection of books is rather sparse. If you enjoy reading, it would be a good idea to bring your reading material with you on the cruise. This room doubles as the Photo Gallery where you can purchase photos of you that the ships’ photographers have taken or where you can book a professional sitting for a photo to take back home. Since it is very busy, don’t expect it to be a quiet retreat.

Most of the public rooms and lounges on the Carnival Glory are located in a central area making it very easy to find your way around the ship. When you step off the elevators in the Atrium, the Information Desk and the Shore Excursion Desk are right in front of you, which means you don’t have to waste time looking for them. If you are interested in browsing the selection of art work on the ship or want to make a purchase, there is an Art Gallery in the Atrium area as well.

Self-service laundrettes are located throughout the ship allowing you to do your laundry whenever you wish.

There are four swimming pools on the ship, of which the Sun Pool has the most spacious area for sunbathing. Two whirlpools adjacent to this pool will help soak away any tiredness from your muscles and help you get ready for the action in the nightly entertainment venues. There is no need to forego your daily swim with the retractable glass roof of the Sky Pool that will keep you safe from inclement weather but still give you a view of the sky.

The Stars Pool is the location of the spiral waterslide where passengers of all ages can have loads of fun. This is also the area where the pool games during the day take place.

Children have the most exciting time on the Carnival Glory. There are programs for all age groups and the games and activities are appropriate for each level. The ship has a family recreation area where all can enjoy video games and there is 3300 square feet of the ship devoted to a children`s play area. There is also a pool just for the little ones located away from the adult pools. For teens between the ages of 12-15 there are special shore excursions where they can be away from their parents under the supervision of the counsellors.
