The range of facilities on the Carnival Valor is designed to suit the tastes and interests of the 2976 passengers that this ship can carry. Fluffy towels are delivered to your stateroom every morning and more often if you need them. The beds are made every day and the mini-bar is restocked if you use any of the items inside. Free toiletries greet you in the bathroom, but this is a welcoming package and is not restocked over the duration of the cruise.
Camp Carnival, which is the children’s program, is broken down into games and activities for different age groups for young cruisers from toddlers to older teens. Older teens, from age 15 to 17, have their own space on the Carnival Valor called Club 02. Here they can socialize with those of the same age group and enjoy dances and parties supervised by the well-trained staff. Parents can also enjoy group babysitting, even for those under the age of two in the evenings when they want to partake of some of the entertainment venues on the ship. Kids’ menus are also available in the main dining rooms and the casual buffet restaurant. ![]() The spa and fitness facility spans a full deck on the ship and allows you to indulge in special pampering and fitness workouts. The golf simulator provides you with the opportunity to play challenging courses from all over the world and you can also take classes from a golfing expert that will enhance your game. Read a book from the well-stocked library, play cards or board games in the card room and relax in perfect comfort on the lounge chairs by the side of the pool or on the various decks of the ship. Have a professional photo taken as a souvenir of your cruise and don’t forget to check out the photos in the Photo Gallery where you just may have been caught by one of the ship’s photographers on the ship or in one of the shore excursions you choose. Although blue jeans are not permitted, the overall dress code of the Carnival Valor is casual. Dressy casual is the standard in the dining rooms and in the Supper Club and there are two formal nights on every cruise. There are four swimming pools on the ship, one of which is a wading pool for small children. There is a waterslide where everyone can have loads of fun and one of the main pools has a retractable roof so that you can still enjoy the fun during inclement weather. Keep in touch with home by means of the bank of computers in the Internet Cafe and browse the works of art in the Art Gallery. For business travellers, there are also facilities for meeting rooms on the Carnival Valor in the Capitol Room during the day. |
