With the facilities and amenities at your fingertips on the Carnival Splendor you might not want to go home when your cruise is ended. There are self-service laundrettes located throughout the ship so you don’t have to make sure you have clean clothes for the duration of your cruise and you can get the coins you need for the machines at the Information Desk in the Lobby. There are three pools on this ship, one of which is for adults only. The Stressless Pool is the location of the 214 –foot waterslide where everyone can be a kid again and for those who like to take a daily swim as part of their exercise routine, the Endless Pool has a retractable roof that will keep the inclement weather outside where it belongs.

With the spa comes complete relaxation and this is what the Carnival Splendor offers in its Cloud 9 Spa – the largest of any cruise ship. Spa cabins are available and offer extra amenities for the guests, including the free use of the cafeteria that serves only healthy meals and snacks.



The ship does have wireless Internet, but you can also keep in touch with home by using the Internet cafe with its bank of terminals. A wide range of entertainment venues offer something for everyone in the shows and genres of music. There is a walking/jogging track where you can not only get in your daily dose of exercise but you have the most wondrous views of the ocean as you sail along.

With twenty-two bars and lounges and five restaurants, your options for entertainment and culinary pleasures are almost unlimited. Children enjoy having their own menu in the main dining room and their own space on the ship. The program for toddlers to teens on the Carnival Splendor is divided into different age groups so that all the games and activities are appropriate for the children in each program. Teenagers delight in having their own video arcade and being able to attend dances with those of their own age group.

Save money in the duty-free shopping on the ship at the mini-mall, read a book in the comfy chairs of the library or play a game of miniature golf. You will find that there are so many different facilities available that you won’t be able to enjoy them all to your satisfaction on just one cruise.
