The facilities on the Carnival Ecstasy are designed to please even the most discerning passenger. With three pools to choose from and a spa that will pamper your mind and body, the name of the game is complete relaxation. The relaxing days will prepare you for the nightly entertainment, which is also first class.

The Explorer’s Library is well-stocked with all genres of books that you can read in this room or check out to take back to your cabin. It is open for two hours each day. The card room has plenty of tables and chairs where you can compete with other passengers or play one of the many board games available.

There is a launderette on the Carnival Ecstasy for the use of the passengers with coin-operated washers and dryers. There are several of these located throughout the ship for the convenience of the guests.

You can have your photos developed even before you leave the ship at the Photography Gallery. For those who like playing video games, there is a Video Arcade on Deck 8. This is usually a very popular place with teenagers who are cruising with their families.

In the Lobby of the ship you can take in the fantastic view or engage in some people watching. This is also the setting for a coffee bar as well as the desk where you can book shore excursions in the ports of call.

Although wireless Internet service is not available in the cabins, you can still stay in touch by using the bank of computers on the Promenade Deck. There is a fee involved in this usage, though, at about $29 per hour.

Shop in upscale boutiques on the Atlantic Deck in the Galleria Gift Shops. This area is designed to look like a street in London or Paris and offers top of the line clothing, jewellery and other items duty-free. There is always a medical doctor on board the ship to tend to you if you should become ill or need some gentle first aid.

Camp Carnival is the name of the children’s programs on the Carnival Ecstasy. Here the children can play with others of their own age group during the day and into the evening hours. The staff is trained to look after the children and take them on small excursions throughout the ship. The idea is for the children to have fun and let the parents unwind for a while as well.
