The spacious gym on the Carnival Paradise is more than able to accommodate all the passengers who want to use this facility for their fitness needs. The 35 pieces of fitness equipment are state of the art and includes such machines as treadmills, stairmasters, stationary bikes and more. There are areas for classes within this 12,000 square foot facility dedicated to making sure that passengers can continue their workout routines at sea or even begin a new workout.

There is a fitness expert on every cruise, which means you can actually have a workout program designed to suit your individual needs and level of ability. Take a class in Pilates, Yoga, spinning or aerobics. Some of these classes carry an extra charge, but it is usually not very expensive and will do you a world of good.

The spa offers a full range of treatment options to help you look and feel great. Relax in a whirlpool and soak away the tiredness from your muscles or indulge in the healing hands of the masseuse. Enjoy a facial, a body wrap or detoxify your body in the sauna and steam room. There are separate change rooms for men and women.

Even if you don’t walk or jog as part of your daily routine, this will become the norm on the Carnival Paradise. The 1/8 mile track is free of obstructions and offers such a glorious view that you will spend longer than usual on this part of your workout each day. In fact, it won’t even feel as if you are working out.

Swim in the pool at your leisure. There are two hot tubs adjacent to the pool and you can become a kid again with the giant waterslide in the main pool on the ship.

If you prefer more strenuous activity and have fun at the same time, shoot some basketballs and see how many you can get into the hoop. Test your golf skills on the golfing simulator and get tips from a golfing expert to enhance your game.

In the adults only Serenity Retreat, there is an area for topless sunbathing if you don’t want to have any tan lines.
