The conquest hasn't been the most luxurious ship I have been on, but it was the best value. The environment was also much more relaxed than the cunard. I enjoyed the activities that were on-board and on-shore with this company as they managed to find something new and different for me to do everyday.
The food was excellent and well presented (although they could have benefitted from my filo pies :P). Restaurant Cezanne was where I ate most frequently. My wife and I don't drink alchohol but from talking to people during dinner and socialising with other passengers they certainly enjoyed theirs.
Positives of Cruise
What isn't there to like about this cruise. I was allowed to unwind and see more of the world than I previously have - refreshed and vigorous to work for one more year until it is time to cruise.
Negatives of Cruise
There is so much to do (albeit it is all optional), the time passes so fast, it is almost like I am back at work too soon. I would make either the cruise longer or do less.
I own a pastry shop in the southern side of Edmonton. For the last 3 years me and my wife have only taken one holiday a year - and that is to go cruising.
